Tata Punch has received positive customer responses since it was first released in 2021, all credit goes to its five-star safety rating from Global NCAP. However, a recent incident turned one of the company’s best-selling products into soup, when it caught fire under the hood. However, the actual cause of the incident is not yet known.

The video shared on social networks shows that the engine was destroyed due to the fire. As the clip progresses, it showed that the multiple components of the car were also damaged from the same cause. Throughout the footage, the car’s owner did not reveal any specific details about the incident.
When the image went viral, it forced the brand to jump in and respond to the victim in the comments section. Tata asked the customer to share his primary and alternate contact numbers, email ID, and dealer information via DM, so his team could contact him for help.
Internet users were also bombarded in the comment section and shared their opinion on the incident. One of the users wrote that the same thing happened to his brother’s car that he bought 2 months ago. Another user commented that Tata knows how to provide good build quality in his cars, compromising it lately.
