Sofia Hayat undergoes major surgery to remove a cyst and shows a huge scar on her belly

New Delhi: Actress and Bigg Boss 7 contestant Sofia Hayat had a health setback recently after she underwent a major operation to remove a cyst from her abdomen. Sofia, who is also a singer and TV personality, said she was in excruciating pain, so much so that she couldn’t even walk, sneezing and urinating. The actress mentioned that she had a 6 cm cyst removed and the operation was quite intense.

Sofia shared some photos of her after the surgery and showed a big scar on her belly. She also mentioned that the surgery showed her who her true supporters were and added that her own family was not by her side when she was fighting for her health.

“I did a little session to show off my scar. I’m so proud of what I’ve been through to get to this point where my energy has fully returned after the massive operation where my intestines were literally placed on top of my tummy and a tumor 7 cm benign. I had the cyst removed. The recovery is long and I needed a lot of mental and spiritual strength because my body did not allow me to walk, urinate, sneeze, get out of bed or carry anything. I have no family around me, so I I had to take care of myself. I was lucky to have my beautiful friends Lady Claudia and Yfke Sturm show up at the hospital and support me.”

She went on to say that during the difficult time, only her maids and neighbors took care of her.

“After 5 days in the hospital, I had 3 weeks of being in bed. I was alone during this time since I have no family. Again I had neighbors who walked my dogs for me and helped me. Even my housekeeper helped me. helped when I went for a walk outside my house. After 10 meters, my body started shaking and I couldn’t walk anymore. Fortunately, I had my phone with me and I called her. Another neighbor saw me and helped my housekeeper take me to home. This was truly humbling. and psychologically very difficult. I have always been fit and strong, and now I couldn’t walk. In difficult times and sickness, people’s true colors are revealed. I saw so much love, but I also saw those who were fake in my life. They were my own family. They have always been like this, so it’s not a surprise. Recently, I gave help to certain members of my family, money, etc. And then I don’t receive anything from them. they”.

Sofia also revealed that actor Udita Goswami, who has acted in movies like ‘Aksar’ and ‘Zeher’, has offered to take care of her at his home.

In July of last year, Sofia suffered a major health scare when she had to be hospitalized due to low levels of salt in her body. The former actress, who said goodbye to show business to embrace spirituality in 2016, was observing a fast when the salt in her body dropped below a dangerous level. trendswire stated that she was rushed to a hospital after passing out. The actress reportedly began to shake and felt dizzy as she observed the fast.
Sofia, who was in the UK at the time, was given five packets of salt and after that, she was revived. Fasting was part of her spiritual practice and it was an unexpected turn of events that her health deteriorated. She has now been released from the hospital and is currently recovering.
