As stated in their press release, Konami intends for Snake Eater to be a faithful recreation of the game and the story of OG. This interpretation will reveal the origin story of Snake, also known as the Big Boss. For those wondering about the triangle symbol in the game’s title, Konami confirmed what is a Delta. It was confirmed that this symbol was chosen because its meaning fits the concept of the remake project.

In addition to confirming the release of Snake Eater, Konami also revealed the relaunching of the first three MGS games. These three classic games will be released as part of Metal Gear Solid Master Collection: Vol. 1. And it will include the first three games: Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid: Sons of Liberty, and Snake Eater in ps5.
