Despite his outstanding performances, Naveen-ul-Haq was brutally roasted on Twitter and the reason was his recent social media activities.

Afghan pacemaker Naveen-ul-Haq faced the wrath of trolls after Lucknow Super Giants were knocked out of the 2023 Indian Premier League after suffering a loss to Mumbai Indians. Naveen claimed a four-fer against the five-time champions in the tie, but was unable to prevent an 81-run thrashing at Chepauk.

Naveen, who has been in the spotlight since his angry exchanges with Virat Kohli during a league game against RCB, was booed constantly by the Chepauk crowd but did well and claimed crucial wickets from Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Cameron Green and Tilak Varma. .

The Afghanistan pacemaker was also seen in a lively exchange during the post-match formality after RCB won the points on offer. Kohli was also seen in a verbal exchange with Kyle Mayers before the West Indian all-rounder was taken away by LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir. But, things got worse when Gambhir clashed with Kohli and the feud ensued.

Meanwhile, Naveen used his variations well and outsmarted Suryakumar Yadav and Cameron Green on the slower deliveries to get LSG back in the game, but ended up on the losing side. He too was involved in a bizarre run during the chase, as miscommunication between himself and Deepak Hooda cost LSG the latter’s wicket.
