Kajol feels that “women and heroines around the world” should be recognized for completing shots in extreme conditions for their films/projects. She has a valid reason for saying this. As she celebrated the 17th anniversary of her 2006 film FanaticKajol revealed that she filmed the song. Mera Haath Mein to -27 degrees Celsius in Poland. Thats not all. She had to wear only a “thin chiffon salwar kameez on a frozen lake, with the wind chill” worsening the condition. His co-star Aamir Khan, on the other hand, “had bought a nice thick jacket at the local market just for the shoot.” But all his hard work was for naught, as “the entire song was scrapped and re-recorded” on a set in Mumbai.

Kajol shared a clip that comprises sequences of Fanatic with Mera Haath Mein playing in the background. She wrote, “One of my many ‘comes’ (referring to reports of her coming back after maternity leave), but Zooni (her character’s name) will always be special to me simply because it had to be me without my eyeglasses. Nerd Rock! And since you guys loved my memories, let me give you a few more.”

Kajol added: “Poland was -27 degrees Celsius on the first day of filming and I was wearing a thin chiffon salwar kameez on a frozen lake with wind chill factor to one side… Aamir Khan, on the other hand, was she had bought a nice thick jacket from the local market just for the shoot (eye roll emojis) So her face didn’t have the natural pain that was on my frozen face! the song was scrapped and RESCHEDULED when we got back to Mumbai! Can we all just say hello to the women and heroines all over the world who do these things and much worse just to look good?”

Fanatic It was directed by Kunal Kohli. It’s one of his “favorite movie experiences.” Resharing Kajol’s tweet, she wrote, “One of my favorite movie experiences. Every day of being on set with you!”

Kunal Kohli had revealed in previous tweets that it was so cold in Poland that Aamir Khan used “many layers” to record the song. Because of that, they had to film Mere Haath Mein again in Mumbai. The director, however, “liked the original better.”
