Shubman Gill extended his purple patch and hit a 60-ball 129 to lead the Gujarat Titans to a whopping 233 from three against the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League Qualifier 2 here on Friday.
Gill first batted in 54 runs for the opening wicket with Wriddhiman Saha (18) before sharing 138 runs for the second wicket with Sai Sudarshan (43 injured withdrawn).
Towards the end, skipper Hardik Pandya made a 13-ball 28 to shore up GT’s score.
None of the MI bowlers could live up to Piyush Chawla (1/45) being the bowlers’ choice.

Mumbai replaced Hrithik Shokeen with Kumar Kartikeya.
The draw for Qualifier 2 between the Gujarat Titans and the Mumbai Indians was delayed due to rain.
