According to Kunal Behl, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Honda Cars India, the price increase will vary depending on the variants.
At present, the Amaze is priced between Rs 6.99 lakh and Rs 9.6 lakh (all showroom prices). It is the smallest sedan offered by the manufacturer in the Indian market. The company had recently increased the price of this car by Rs 12,000, effective April 2023 due to concerns of rising costs.

On the other hand, the City line, which also includes the powerful hybrid grinders, is priced between Rs 11.55 lakh to Rs 20.39 lakh (all non-showroom prices). However, the midsize sedan’s strong hybrid trim won’t be affected by the upcoming price hike.
In other developments, Honda Cars is set to introduce its new midsize SUV, the Elevate on June 6, 2023. This car will expand the company’s portfolio which, as of now, only has City and Amaze to offer. The Elevate is expected to share its underpinnings with the fifth-generation City.
At launch, this mid-size SUV will rival Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Kia Seltos, bringing more heat to the mid-size SUV market in India, which has seen strong growth of late.
