Chickpeas, dates, and milk are good sources of protein. Therefore, if you are trying to increase your protein intake, this dessert can be a good addition to your diet. Chickpeas also contain calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, and vitamin K.

3. It is low in fat

Many desserts like ice cream are full of fat because their base requires a large amount of high-fat milk or heavy cream. Although this chocolate cream does contain milk, its amount is much less. Also, the key ingredient in this base is chickpeas and not just any dairy product. In general, this dessert is relatively low in fat.

4. It can help with weight loss

Chickpeas and dates are also high in fiber. This can help promote satiety, curb cravings, and help with weight loss. The protein content of this dessert can also help you with your fitness goals. It provides you with a healthy energy boost and can keep your blood sugar levels relatively stable.

Now you know exactly what to do the next time you’re craving something chocolatey.
