Carpenter’s son tops X-Class boards, now aspires to be a techie |  Indian News – India Times

DEHRDUN/ RUDRAPUR: Sushant Chandravanshi, a student at the BHSVM school in Tehrihas passed the class 10 state board exams with 99% marks, earning 100% in Mathematics.
Dhruv Prasadsaid Sushant’s father, who works as a carpenter at a furniture store. TOI, “You have made us all proud. The result is better than our expectations.” Sushant intends to pursue a career in science and later software engineering, his proud father added.
A summary of the results revealed that the pass rate was 85.2% for class 10 and 81% for class 12. Girls performed better than boys in both classes.
Tanu Chauhan, a student of Ramlal Vidyamandir in the city of Jaspur udham singh nagar district, secured first place in the state in class 12 with a 97.6% grade.
Tanu, a farmer’s daughter, used to cycle four kilometers to get to school. “I studied almost nine hours a day to secure this position. My vision for the future includes achieving success on the UPSC exam and serving the country,” she said.
